Whirlwind!

These past few weeks have been a whirlwind to say the least. I lost my job a month ago now. Not two weeks later, Chad got a call at his office from corporate letting them know that they would be closing the Las Vegas office. Goodness! Both of us out of a job with no warning and seemingly no preparation for it. Well, the job never was Chad's dream job so he had been looking and keeping his options open even before learning the news. He had interviewed with a CPA firm earlier in the week through a lead from church. It was just a day after getting the dreaded phone call from corporate that the CPA firm called Chad back and sent him an offer letter and wanted him to start immediately.
He has been at the new job for a little over two weeks now and it is working out great. We are in the midst of tax season so Chad is crazy busy at work. He works most days until late in the evening and works on Saturday as well. So, we don't get to see him a lot at home, but we are SO grateful that he has a job!! ...and it is something that he really enjoys doing and is getting to use all those years of education with plenty of room for growth!
