Parker is 6 months old!! Amazing! I don't feel like we've had him nearly that long.
Yesterday we went for our well baby visit and Parker got a clean bill of health. He weighed 16lbs 4 oz and was 27.5 inches long. Right on track. He was a little bit of a wild man at the pediatrician's office - always moving his arms and legs about a million miles an hour. The pediatrician gave me a 50% chance that Parker would blow up the house :)
Some updates on Parker these days....He is doing so much better at tummy time! He'll actually lay there for several minutes. He lays there and picks up his head, arms, and legs....looking like he's swimming for about 10 seconds and then he has to lay his head down to rest for a few seconds before he takes to "swimming" again.
Parker loves, loves, loves to be outside! When he gets fussy at home, we can just go sit on the front steps and he is content. He also loves to feel the wind blow...and here that is happening more often than not at this time of year!
He is sleeping great....from about 7pm until somewhere between 5:30 and 6:30 in the morning. I feel like we're finally getting into a consistent routine during the day. He pretty much eats and naps on the same schedule every day and that is so great!
Parker loves eating all of these new foods. He is like a little bird with his mouth wide open waiting for me to put the food in.
We are practicing sitting up. He can sit up for about 10 seconds until he gets distracted and tips over.
Parker has seven teeth now and they are about as sharp as can be!!
He become so much more aware of his surroundings all of the time. He watches what is going on so intently. He's quite a cutie!
