Tonight, President Hinckely, the prophet and president of our church passed away at 97 years of age. We were sad to hear the news. He is so loved! He has been serving for nearly 13 years now. We will definitely miss seeing him and hearing his counsel. However, I know that heaven must be a joyous place today at the reunion of President Hinckley and his wife Marjorie!

2 Months Old
We took this picture when Parker was two months old (at the end of December), but I've been a little bit slow in posting it. Parker has changed a lot in the last month. We are getting into a better routine and that is great for everyone involved! Parker LOVES to talk! I think he takes after his daddy! He will smile, coo, and laugh for hours assuming he is rested and fed. He is quite a flirt with all of the ladies at church :)
He has lost most of his newborn hair and has a lot of very fine peach fuzz hair growing in. A few weeks ago when we went to the pediatrician he was 11 lbs so he is probably almost 12 lbs by now. He is growing longer all of the time - his pants are all a little high-water. We've started to move into the 3-6 month clothes. It's a little sad to say goodbye to the newborn clothes, but I'm happy we're moving out of the newborn stage. Parker is more and more fun to play with all the time!

A Hard Day of Play....
Parker is a very active little guy! He loves to moves his arms and legs almost nonstop. Nanny (Chad's mom) got him an exersaucer for Christmas. Part of it is a mat that he lays on with toys that hang down for him to play with. He loves it because with his flailing arms he is bound to hit the toys with his hands. Well, today apparently he exhausted himself with all of his playing...

Christmas Card Attempts...
We had to make many attempts to get a good picture of Parker for our Christmas cards/birth announcements. Parker has a very short window of good picture taking time after he has slept and been fed. Wendie served as our photographer and we tried on several days using different positions to get just the right shot with his cute smile, but we finally gave into using a picture of him sleeping because he is so peaceful then. However, I wanted to share some of the other pictures. They really make me laugh!
